 Attire/Shoes
Are there special rules about shoes?
We recommend that you wear low-heeled, comfortable shoes to Showcase! This year's house has a steep driveway, and you must navigate stairs to enter the house and tour the three floors of design areas. Please note that you may be asked to remove your shoes to protect floors.
Access for the Disabled
Is Showcase accessible to the disabled?
Showcase homes are private residences. As such, they often do not have special accommodations for the disabled. Please call 415.479.5691 for more information.
Children
Can I bring my children to Showcase?
Showcase is an adult venue. Children on Showcase premises must be closely supervised by an adult. Parents may carry very young children through design areas; older children must be held by the hand at all times. No child carriers or strollers are permitted in design areas.
What is the admission price for children?
The general admission price applies to children old enough to walk through the house.

How do I get to Showcase and where do I park?
From northbound Highway 101, take the Central San Rafael exit onto Irwin Street. Turn right onto Mission Avenue. Turn left onto Grand Avenue. Follow signs for parking and shuttle stops on Grand Avenue past Dominican University.
From southbound Highway 101, take the Central San Rafael exit. Turn left onto Mission Avenue. Turn right onto Grand Avenue. Follow signs for parking and shuttle stops on Grand Avenue past Dominican University.

Mailing List
How can I have my name placed on the mailing list?
If you would like your name to be added to our postcard mailing list (used only to notify you of upcoming Showcase events), please call 415.479.5691.
Photography
Can I take pictures of the house?
Please leave your camera/camcorder at home. Guests of Showcase are not permitted to photograph or film design areas. In fact, cameras/camcorders are not allowed in any design area. No exceptions! Please note that taking photos with a camera phone is also prohibited.
Lunch Hours & Group Reservations
When is lunch served and can I make reservations?
A petite lunch is available Tuesday through Saturday between the hours of 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. View menu (Word doc).
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. For groups of ten or more people with advance tour reservations, lunch reservations can also be made. To request group reservations and information, call 415.924.4908 or email groups@marindesignersshowcase.com.
Tour Info
How long is the tour?
Please allow one and one-half hours for the tour.
Are there guides?
The tour is self-guided; however, there are docents on hand to answer your questions and direct you through the design areas.
